Position Overview

The mission of the Clinical Support Therapist's (CSS) role is to provide trauma-informed treatment and case management to students and their families, as well as work directly under a Lead Therapist to provide support in the field, office (paperwork, organization etc..) and to always maintain the highest standard of communication to employees, parents and referents. The CSS works within the CASA treatment framework as well as within the established program culture and norms. In addition, the CSS seeks to ensure student and staff safety through clear and proactive communication and treatment planning, training and implementation.


  • Ensure all client files are up to date within 7 days of all sessions.
  • Support Lead Therapist positions as managed by the Clinical Director.
  • CSS will work a flexible schedule based on programming needs and the needs of the clinical team; this includes working in the field each week and spending extended periods of time with students and staff.
  • CSS is responsible for clinical care and direction of clients throughout the process, family involvement and therapy, running groups, and field/logistical support when needed.
  • Ability to camp competently and safely in four-season conditions
  • Able to contribute time and energy towards marketing and outreach when requested.


  • Master's Degree in counseling-related field required
  • State licensed or proof of license eligibility
  • 21+ years old
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds for extended durations and have the ability to walk at least 1 mile over uneven terrain
  • Must be able to pass a Background Criminal Investigation
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred; Certified Wilderness First Responder ideal
