Position Overview:

The Recruiter reports to the Executive Director. The mission of the Recruiter role is to first seek to understand the core purpose, values, culture, norms and processes of Embark. The primary focus of the Recruiter will be hyper-focused on recruiting Clinical and Field positions for the the program. Because of this, the Recruiter will be exceptional at 1) recruiting/hiring and 2) assisting in retaining employees. As a result, the Recruiter will have a demonstrated background of recruiting and selecting A-Players and can prove a successful track record of such. The Recruiter will vet, screen, interview, and provide candidates to hiring managers in a collaborative, partnership way which is consistent with our company culture and core values free from ego or selfish interests.

The Recruiter will have an onboarding period to orient to our industry, managers, and people and is to continually have a, "seek to understand before being understood" mindset; especially during the onboarding period. Once fully onboarded, the Recruiter will build upon and optimize recruiting and hiring systems and processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in admissions and/or outreach in a NATSAP or other residential program is preferred.
  • Highly qualified candidates will have experience working in and representing behavioral healthcare organizations and have existing professional relationships.
  • An applicant must have a minimum of two years of marketing experience and have bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Extensive knowledge of behavioral health marketing place and therapeutic wilderness program is preferred.
